Sheffield is about to explode into one massive music celebration with the return of Tramlines Festival.

Tramlines, the UK’s biggest inner-city music festival, will turn the city into a vibrant music festival site this weekend.

With open-air stages, late nightclubs, impromptu street performances and repurposed spaces dotted throughout the city, it’s easy to become overwhelmed.

But luckily, organisers have compiled all the vital information attendees need for a safe and successful festival experience.

Tickets

Full weekend Tramlines tickets are still available while stocks last. Due to popular demand there are a limited number of day tickets available along with Saturday night tickets for £20.

Wristbands

Tramlines tickets must be exchanged for a wristband before entry to any venue or stage. Wristbands can only be issued from the wristband exchange point that was selected at the time of booking.

All tickets bought from Party for the People, Ticket Arena, Skiddle or Festiticket and all Carers Passes can only be collected from Sheffield City Hall.

All physical tickets must be exchanged at Sheffield City Hall.

Wristbands can only be collected in person. People cannot collect wristbands on behalf of anyone else.

You will have to wear your wristband. Day wristbands do not need to be collected on the specific day of the ticket.

City Hall: Thursday – 4pm-9pm; Friday – 12pm-11pm; Saturday – 11am-11pm; Sunday – 12pm-5pm

Ponderosa, Main Stage: Friday – 4pm-9.30pm; Saturday – 11am-9.30pm; Sunday – 12pm-8pm

Folk Forest: Saturday – 11.30am-7pm; Sunday – 11.30am-7pm

Travel

There is no parking available at the Main Stage, Ponderosa Park, and any cars found illegally parked will be towed.

Organisers recommend that attendees use the Supertram, who have produced a festival explorer day ticket for £3 that allows unlimited travel within the festival area – city centre to Nunnery Square, Granville Road and Infirmary Road.

These tickets can be purchased from the wristband exchange points.

Attendees driving into Sheffield from out of town are advised to use the Supertram’s Park and Ride scheme.

Walking Route

The Main Stage at Ponderosa Park is a short walk from the city centre. There is a clearly signposted route from the city centre and from the Shalesmoor tram stop.

Safety

Staying safe at Tramlines is important. Make sure you keep hydrated with plenty of water and bring suitable clothes for wet weather.

Tramlines has a zero tolerance policy towards illegal drugs and ‘legal highs’ with CCTV surveillance operated in the main stage.

The main stage is located in a residential area and organisers ask people to make sure that this is respected when leaving, particularly at night.

Tramlines also operate a zero tolerance towards discrimination of any kind. If people experience or witness something that they feel is inappropriate, they are advised to alert a steward or on-site security guard.
