IT WAS glitz and glamour at Sheffield’s Mercure hotel when a fundraising ball was held to raise cash in memory of Claire Squires who died during the London Marathon.
Strictly Come Dancing professional Flavia Cacace brought star quality to the Hollywood Glamour event.
Flavia greeted 140 guests, signed photographs, and took to the dance floor with two lucky men who each bid £300 for a dance.
There was a red carpet, a three course meal, casino, raffle, auction and Oscar statues.
Organiser Kerry Summers said: “The event was very successful and raised £1,400 for the Squires Effect.”
