The clip, uploaded to video sharing website YouTube, shows a bald-headed man and an unseen woman screaming insults at each other on a commuter train with one of the passengers capturing the events as they unfold on camera.
In the footage, a woman can be clearly heard calling the man, who is wearing a long coat and carrying a blue holdall, a "foul-mouthed old get" as he strides down the carriage.
The 36 second clip, uploaded to the website yesterday by a user called Martin Simpson, is entitled "Public train argument doncaster (sic)" and in a description of the clip he writes: "Well it was such a lovely day on the way to meadowhall until i got the back end of a massive row with 2 idiots behind me!
"But then again it was in doncaster haha."

It is not clear exactly when the footage was filmed or which train it was taken on or what the pair were arguing about.
The clip begins with messages "Keep Thi' ' Sen Calm, Tha's From Yorkshire" and "Let's Get Ready To Rumble" before cutting to the sound of a boxing ring bell.
The film, shot secretly by the passenger, shows the man arguing with a woman further down the carriage. The woman's voice can be heard saying: "It's not swearing" and urges the man to sit down.
He replies "no I won't sit down" before marching down the carriage as other passengers look on and with a female voice heard describing him as "a foul-mouthed old get" and "chuntering" as he exits past the camera.
