Sheffield Steelers coach Paul Thompson admitted his goal-shy team had let the fans down tonight.

He complimented MKL on the way they kept Steelers forwards to the perimeter.

And when they did make progress into the opposition's zone, there were too many "Hollywood plays"

But he said an immediate response was needed tomorrow night in the reverse League fixture.
