VIDEO: We barely gave them a chance - Mick McCarthy on Ipswich Town's win over Sheffield Wednesday


Tom Lawrence and Luke Chambers scored for Ipswich, with Gary Hooper on target for the home side but Wednesday didn't create much and were caught out by Chambers' late winner.
McCarthy said: "I'm very, very pleased, of course, with the performance and happier with the result. I thought we were excellent.

"They are a good side with good players, who rotate particularly well and pass it well. But we negated that pretty well for most of the time, I thought they've not had that many chances.

"As the game went on, we caught them on the break a number of times and didn't really make enough of it which we should have done, until we got the winner.
