It takes a lot to upstage world champion Kell Brook on his home soil.

But Sam O’maison managed it when he arrived for his weigh-in at Sheffield United’s ground in a 44-ton truck, courtesy of sponsor DBL. Brook, who will be ringside for the Saturday night fight against Mark McKray, at the ground.

Brook said; “I think he has out-done me! It’s a Chris Eubank kind of entrance.”

But he wished his Sheffield mate well ahead of the contest.

“His last fight ended very quickly with a devastating KO. I am glad his confidence is coming back.

“I have heard reports that he is a very hard trainer (at Ryan Rhodes’ gym) and got a bounce in his step.

“He is good to watch and I am looking forward to seeing him on Saturday.”

Both boxers sailed through the weigh-in at Bramall Lane.
