VIDEO: Take a look at Ness

Have your say

Whether you choose to take the high road or the low road to the RSPCA animal shelter in Attercliffe, you’ll be sure to meet Nessie.

But we’re not talking about the Loch Ness monster here.

In this case, Ness is a gorgeous Staffordshire Bull Terrier who just loves to play.

RSPCA Sheffield Branch Animal Care Manager Tony Benham says: “Ness, a black and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier came to us back in August.

“We believe she is about eight years old.

“She was in good condition but with dirty ears which will now need long term monitoring and cleaning.

“This lovely dog is very smart and she is very eager to learn things. She enjoys her toys and chasing tennis balls and she is very good about her grooming and bathing.

“She’s an all-round delight to be around and to have with you. She loves being with people and is full of the joys of life.”

Ness is fine with other dogs and wags her tail when she sees them.

She will need about two lots of 30-minute walks a day and any extra activities that can be given.

RSPCA Sheffield Branch in Stadium Way is open every day, except Wednesday, from 12.30pm until 3.30pm. Contactthe centre on 0114 2898050.
