Lionel Richie fan Ben Ley is dancing on the ceiling after scooping £1,000 of Sheffield Arena tickets including VIP seats to see his idol - celebrating the launch of The Star's new web site.

The 37-year-old is planning a trip to Las Vegas and was going to see Lionel Richie there.

But now he's planning to party all night long and get the Vegas treatment in his home city.

The Star's amazing prize includes two Sheffield Arena Club tickets, with top seats to Lionel's All The Hits show, with pre show meal, private lounge, complimentary car parking and more, on June 22.

Our web launch prize also includes two general tickets to Strictly Come Dancing Live (Jan 26), Arenacross 2016 (Feb 13), Thunder (Feb 19), Dynamo (Feb 24), Ellie Goulding (March 12), Betway Premier League Darts (April 7), WWE Live Wrestlemania Revenge (April 22), Harlem Globetrotters (April 28) and Bryan Adams (May 14).

The total value of this prize is £1,074.

Ben, a Sheffield Council schools finance worker, said: "I'm really excited to have over £1,000 of tickets to all these top shows at Sheffield Arena, all just through following The Star's Facebook site.

"Best thing is tickets for Lionel Richie. I was going to go see him when we go to Las Vegas later this year, but now we don;t need to. We can come to Sheffield Arena and get the Las Vegas treatment here."

Sheffield Arena Marketing Manager Simon Bailey said: "We were really pleased to team up with The Star to give away such a fantastic prize, to come and see 10 of the top shows playing the Arena this year.
