The incredible footage, sent in by Star reader Rob Bates, was captured as high winds and heavy rains battered the Derbyshire Peak District between Sheffield and Glossop.

Despite the spectacular sight at Derwent Dam, Storm Doris caused a number of problems for residents yesterday as gale-force wind and rain battered the country.
