VIDEO: South Yorkshire river bursts its banks as water levels continue to rise
This was the scene in a South Yorkshire village this morning after a river burst its banks.
Environment Agency officer Adam Bayliss shared this video of the Norwood Spillway, near the River Don, Barnby Dun, filling with water, which it is designed to do to alleviate flood risk.
He said the Ea Beck was continuing to overflow into the reservoir and added it was expected to continue to do so for the remainder of the day.
