There was drama in Sheffield city centre earlier when smoke started pouring out of a first floor window.

Two fire engines stopped outside the closed Game shop as several alarms went off.

But South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said there was no fire, and the smoke was coming from an intruder alarm which had been triggered.

Staff at next door Thorntons, where the alarm was still going off, said they were trying to figure out how to stop it.
