Sheffield United fans are being urged to wear pink on Saturday to show their support for the Breast Cancer Care charity.
The match day squad for the game against Millwall will wear a special home shirt emblazoned with the charity’s logo.
Both United and Millwall players and match day officials will warm-up in pink T-shirts and a special pink Sheffield United T-shirt will be available to buy, with a space to write on a loved one’s name.
As part of the ‘Turn the Lane Pink Day’ fans will hold up pink cards at kick-off.
Pink ties and flowers will be worn by staff.
Dave McCarthy, United’s Operations Director, said: “We want the whole club to get behind this and raise awareness and funds for the charity.
“We hope this will be a genuine help and give support to a charity which does so much to help those affected by breast cancer.”
