VIDEO: 'Sheffield United are only looking towards top of table' after going second by beating Ipswich
Chris Wilder, the Sheffield United manager, claimed his only target was the 50-point safety mark after today's victory over Ipswich at Bramall Lane.
But with United second in the table, The Star's James Shield suggests that - in private at least - Wilder and his men will have more lofty ambitions than simply just surviving in the Championship.
"Chris has tried to come up with more and more ways to play down expectations with this team - today's was that they needed 26 more points to secure Championship status next term - but behind the scenes I don't think they'll be thinking in those terms whatsoever," said James, in our video chat which is available in full above.
United controlled the majority of the first half before making the pressure count early in the second when Chris Basham headed home the winner. Both sides hit the crossbar as well, but Ipswich were perhaps fortunate to lose the game by only the one goal as United ran out deserved winners.
The only downside was an injury to Kieron Freeman, the right back stretchered off with a suspected dislocated knee.
