VIDEO: Scene of crime officers investigate assault on Doncaster homeless man
Scene of crime officers have started their investigations into an assault on Doncaster homeless man today.

The blood stained doorway where the attack happened, part of the the former Co-op building, was sealed off by police as they carried out investgations.
Police say the site had been the scene of an alleged assault and officers have made an arrest in connection with the incident.
The victim suffered head injuries and was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary

An officer in a patrol car was at the scene at 7am yesterday with police tape stretched around lamp posts outside the former Co-op building on Printing Office Street. A second car arrived on the scene shortly afterwards.
By 11am, scene of crime officers were on the scene, marking out the crime scene and taking measurements.
