That's the view of promoter Dennis Hobson, who stages Commomnwealth champion Cameron middleweight clash with Brighton's Nicky Jenman.

Hobson said Cameron's mentality has changed over recent times; he has matured into a more rounded and prepared competitor.

And where as Cameron used to "go into his shell a little bit" against forceful boxers like Friday's opponent Jenman, he was now a more focused individual

"This kid will come and give it a right go" admitted Hobson, of Jenman.

But not any more would Cameron get out-worked by people of lesser skill, he said.

He was now trading much more hurtful punches.

Hobson said the penny had dropped for the Manor Park champ after some tough fights and better nutrition programmes - he was a transformed fighter, with self-belief.

The promoter said he was looking for at least as good a performance from his man on Friday as Cameron showed last year against Sam Sheedy.

Hobson, who expects a stoppage in the middle to late rounds, said despite 10 losses Jenman was a credible opponent who was likely to be sharp after fighting last month.

"Mark my words, it will be a decent fight."

*Jenson's inability to make the weight means he cannot win the Commonwealth title. But the title will become vacant if Cameron loses.
