A probe is underway into a blaze at a stable block in Sheffield.
The fire on Waterslacks Road, Woodhouse, was discovered at 4.15pm yesterday.
Firefighters called to the blaze said no animals were injured.
Karina Fairburn, who keeps horse at the stables, suspects the blaze was an arson attack.
Writing online she said: “Luckily all the animals are fine. Just been and checked them. They are still a bit shaken up but they are all okay.
“I hope who ever you are you realise that very shortly before this my not even two year old daughter was running around playing here whilst we sorted the horses. I hope you are proud of yourselves.”
Danny Perrins added: “All the horses are fine thank god. They are shaken up but all are okay - it could have been a lot worse due to some little scumbag.”
That same day firefighters were also called out High Greave Road, East Herringthorpe, Rotherham, after a wheelie bin was set alight outside a house.
When crews arrived at the scene they established that the house was empty at the time and undergoing a refurbishment.
They also dealt with a wheelie bin set alight on Bentley Road, Bentley, Doncaster.
Anyone with information about any of the incidents should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
