CCTV footage has been released of a man believed to hold vital information about two burglaries in Barnsley.

Homes in Hillside Crescent and Hillside Mount, Brierley, were broken into on Thursday, February 22.

Detective Mark Griffiths, of South Yorkshire Police, said: "Since the incidents were reported to us an extensive range of enquiries have been carried out, including forensic analysis and exhausting any CCTV opportunities.

"As our enquiries continue I’d now like to ask for your help to identify the man in this CCTV clip, who we believe could hold important information.

"I’d also like to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious on that Thursday afternoon."
