VIDEO: Police begin investigation after 4AM fire at Sheffield pub

A police investigation has begun after a fire started at a Sheffield pub at 4am this morning.

The blaze took place at the Wybourn Hotel on Cricket Inn Road in the early hours of Sunday morning (July 8).

Three fire engines attended to extinguish the blaze, which was located in the front doorway of the pub.

Police today said there were no injuries 'as far as they were aware' but that the fire was being investigated.

Pictures on the @SheffieldEyes Twitter account shows a crime scene investigation van and officers stationed outside the pub this morning,

A video posted on the same Twitter account suggests the pub was attacked by two men with a petrol bomb while customers were still inside.
