James said after the match: "It was a much-needed result after what has been a week to forget at Bramall Lane. They came into the match off the back of a disappiointing result at Bury in midweek and then the news that Jose Baxter had been sspended for failing a drugs test, made it absolutely impresitive just for the mood and the feel-good factor around the club that Sheffield United took something positive out of that today.
"It wasn't a perfect pefrnmace by any means, Nigel Adkins will admit his playesr will perform a lot better than that but today was about character and focus and resilience as much as anything else."
