The team is made up entirely of volunteers who are on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week and attended 138 incidents in 2015, which marked their busiest year since 2010.
The latest aspirants to qualify as on call team members have spent the last 18 months learning hill skills, first aid and navigation in order to join one of the busiest mountain rescue teams in the country.
In February, the new team members spent a weekend putting their skills to the test through rescue scenarios, night time navigation and camping out in shelters they made themselves, all under a foot of snow.
Over the weeks that followed, the team have hit the streets fundraising, carried out extensive training and spoken about the commitments they make as team members and the vital work they do.
