Morgan Fox, who came off at half time in the win over Blackburn and subsequently missed the next two games - against Nottingham Forest and Brentford -could be in line for a recall.

And speaking ahead of the early kick off tomorrow, Carlos Carvalhal revealed that Gary Hooper, who hasn't played since limping off in the draw with Fulham in November, could also be available.

The team had yet to train before Carvalhal addressed the media, but the head coach remained hopeful the pair could be involved.

However, Tom Lees, who hasn't played since the 20-2 draw away to Bristol City at the end of January, is still not ready for a comeback.

Carvalhal said: "I can't tell you too much because we have training today and we will decide after the training but we have good expectations about all the players that had problems, we had good expectations that the players can be ready, let's wait for the news tomorrow"

He added: "Tom Lees will be a more later, he will take some more days but the other players we have good expectations, we will see after the training today."

Almen Abdi has started in the last two games after around two months out of the picture, but came off early in the midweek defeat to Brentford. Carvalhal added that there was no major issue with the midfielder.

"Abdi hasn't played much and played in two intensive games and we think his energy came a little down so we tried to refresh the team. Nothing special."

Callum McManaman came off the bench, along with Sam Winnall, on Tuesday and both made an impact to the attack, but Carvalhal wasn't giving anything away with regards to whether or not either had played their way into the starting XI for the match which sees the Championship's fifth and sixth placed team go head-to-head.

"You can ask what you want, you know I will not tell you," he said. "We will put in the players that we understand is the best to start the game. Sure we have options and players who can change the game and the face of the tea,. This is important, not just players to start but players who can make a good impact., This is something we needed and all the teams in the world need."

"What we must do is analyse the oppenents and our players and the players we feel can win the game and move the bench with the things that we need."
