After a demoralising defeat to Southend in midweek, an incredible near 19,000 fans turned out to watch the Sheffield United on Saturday and their loyalty was rewarded with an impressive showing against Walsall.
Goals in the first half from Chris Basham and Billy Sharp did the damage as United turned on the style with one of their best performances of the season and the supporters showed their appreciation at the end.
