A video entitled "How Fat Is Doncaster" showing a man commenting on the vast number of fast food outlets in the town has been uploaded to video sharing website YouTube.

The clip, uploaded by a user called Jonny G, shows a male walking through the Frenchgate Centre's food court and pointing out the vast array of food outlets for locals to choose from.

It is not clear the message the video is trying to portray and a bizarre post posted below the 47-second clip reads: "The views and opinions expressed here are not necessarily the views of anybody, all copyrighted material is used for educational purposes or is less than 8 seconds long as the law requires.

"Jonny is not a professional, all advice should be verified by a qualified authority before being regarded as anything other that mindless drivel. Safety First!"

The clip begins with the man walking through the Frenchgate towards the railway station and a voice can be heard announcing: "I don't know if you've ever been to Frenchgate before but this is the entrance."

The footage, thought to have been shot on a mobile phone camera, then pans around the food court. "OK straight away, Subway," says the voice, before focusing on Brookfields store which is dismissed as a "cheesy little newsagent."

He continues: "Right next to it a Greggs, right next to that a KFC. There's a Mizu - whatever a Mizu is," before realising it is a Chinese restaurant.

"Fish and chips and a Wimpy and a Coffee Republic," the voice adds before laughter is heard and the clip finishes with a voice saying "In't that funny?"

The video was uploaded to the site earlier this week.

It is not clear where "Jonny" comes from, although previous videos on his YouTube channel appear to have been shot in Grimsby and Cleethorpes.
