VIDEO: Could you be Alfie’s family?

Have your say

Little Alfie is a playful cross breed looking for a permanent, and loving, new home.

Alfie was brought to the RSPCA Sheffield Animal centre by an RSPCA Inspector due to concerns for his welfare.

The four-year-old is currently being cared for by the centre’s Kennel Supervisor, Vykki Whelan.

Vykki said: “Alfie really does love life - and his tail never stops wagging!
“He is playful, full of fun and energy, and affectionate too. This little guy pretty much has it all! Now he’s just looking for somebody to share it all with.

“Alfie would love a relatively active home with a family who enjoy being out and about with their dog. Although he is happy to share space with other dogs, he would probably prefer a home either as an only pet or with a quieter female dog.

“Alfie may possibly be suitable to live with children aged 8+ if they are already used to bouncy and enthusiastic dogs.”

Alfie is one of many animals who arrives at the centre through no fault of their own.

Do you think you could be the one to provide Alfie with his ‘forever home?’
