Useless claiming for tyre damage

Have your say

Earlier this year it was reported that the council had paid out little or nothing to car owners whose vehicles had been damaged by potholes because if could be shown that the holes were monitored and therefore claims were not considered.

I have just driven a short distance and found that there were numerous potholes with yellow lines round to indicate that repairs were necessary. All have been left for so long that the yellow lines have almost disappeared.

These holes have increased in size and others near to them have developed and require attention.

In Morley Street there are holes that are so deep they are showing the original road stones.

I wonder how many drivers are having the same trouble and having tyre damage for which it is useless to make a claim?
