A SYP spokesman said: “Derek, 72, was last seen at 2.40pm on Saturday, November 16 leaving Grange Lane, heading in the general direction Pontefract Road, Cundy Cross.

“He hasn’t been seen since and officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare. Derek is about 5ft 6ins tall, a slim build and thought to be wearing a rain jacket which is light blue/grey on the top half and dark blue/grey on the bottom half, light grey smart trousers and black shoes.
