Upgrade of stores
UK Cabling, the Sheffield-based information and communications technology cabling specialist, has completed an eight month contract to upgrade 120 Wilkinson's stores across the country.
Frazer Davy, project manager at UK Cabling, said: “The installation has been successful, with most of the work helping to upgrade the checkouts and improve the data cabling system for the stores’ computers and radio transmitters. It has been a sizeable rollout, keeping six of our engineers busy since January.”
UK Cabling acted as sub-contractor to Worksop-based electrical company Ashley Engineering.
