UPDATE: Road closed in Rotherham following crash involving a car and motorcycle

Fenton Road in Greasborough remains closed with buses being diverted.

Emergency services were called at around 2.50pm today April 10, following reports of a crash in the Greasborough area.

It is understood that a car and a motorcycle were involved in the collision.

The motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Enquiries are ongoing and the road has been closed while emergency services respond.

The road is expected to be closed for some time, so motorists are advised to plan alternative routes.

Buses are being diverted along Munsbrough Road, Main Street, Church Street and Grayson Road with the 141/142 services being affected.
