UPDATE: Renewed appeal into Sheffield crash

Police today renewed an appeal for information into a collision in the city last month after which two brothers died.

At around 2.25pm on Thursday 2 June, it was reported that a blue Audi A4 was carrying out a manoeuvre on Glenorchy Road when it was involved in a collision with two pedestrians - a 77-year-old and 79-year-old man.

The brothers, from the Nether Edge area, both suffered serious head injuries and were taken to hospital in a critical condition.

Both men have now died and have been named as Raymond and Arthur Sharkey, of Glenorchy Road.

Police are renewing their appeal for information and are asking anyone who was in the area at the time or witnessed the collision to please come forward.
