UPDATE: Police still investigating 'active incident' in Heeley
Gleadless Road in Heeley was cordoned off at 5pm last night and several Police Officers were still at the scene today.
South Yorkshire Police have confirmed that it was an incident involving a vehicle but are unable to comment further at this time.
A spokesperson said: "I can confirm we've got an active incident. A vehicle has been involved. We are not at liberty to say the nature of this incident at the present."
There were unconfirmed reports yesterday that a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
