UPDATE: A missing woman who had not been seen for days has been found within hours of her appeal being shared online.
Rebecca Holden, aged 34, was reported missing from Doncaster and The Star reported on South Yorkshire Police’s appeal this morning.
Police have now reported that Rebecca was found safe and well in Hexthorpe at about 11.30am.
A spokesman for the force said: “We are delighted to report that missing Rebecca Holden has been found safe and well this morning (Saturday 19 September).
“Rebecca, 34, was found in Hexthorpe, Doncaster, at around 11.30am. She is safe and well.
“Huge thanks to everyone for your concern and for sharing our appeal.”
A search has begun for a 34-year-old woman who has not been seen since Wednesday.
Rebecca Holden was last seen on CCTV in Concorde Mews, Doncaster, just before midnight on Wednesday, September 16.
She has not been seen or heard from since, and both police and her family are growing ‘increasingly concerned’ for her welfare.
Rebecca was reported missing on Thursday evening but the public are now being asked to help locate her.
Rebecca is white, between 5ft 10ins and 6ft tall, of medium build, with long mousey-brown hair with blonde highlights, which is worn in a ponytail.
In the last sighting of her on CCTV, she was wearing a white vest top with blue and white tartan pyjama bottoms, black shoes and was carrying a black handbag.
