UPDATE: Investigation into death of teacher found dead in bed after Doncaster bar assault continues

A police spokesman has today confirmed that a suspect arrested on suspicion of murder remains on bail, in connection with the death of a 24-year-old teacher who was found dead at his home hours after he was allegedly assaulted in a Doncaster town centre bar.

Mr Siddal, who taught at Copley Junior School, had allegedly been assaulted at the VDKA bar in Silver Street at around 11 o’clock the night before.

Commenting on the investigation, a police spokesman told The Free Press: "There are no charges in relation to this investigation yet, the suspect remains on bail and enquiries continue."
