University staff on research trip

staff from The University of Sheffield are visiting India to develop research connections.

Vice Chancellor Professor Sir Keith Burnett will lead the team to foster relationships between Sheffield and Indian institutions and business.

The trip will also aim to highlight the value students from India bring to the UK as Indian people make up the third largest group of international students at the university.

Sir Keith is also to meet with Government, university and business chiefs. The trip follows research aimed at highlighting international students’ worth.
