Staff at Sheffield Hallam University spread some Christmas cheer when they collected 120 toys and presents for the NSPCC in Sheffield.

Catering staff from the university’s facilities directorate arranged a collection of over 120 toys and presents and delivered them last week.

They have raised over £5,000 for the charity so far this year by taking part in events including the Great North Run and hosting a Fun day, charity raffle and a Christmas fayre.

Rebecca Malone, Staff Engagement Manager from Sheffield Hallam, said: “We wanted to do something very much in the Christmas spirit for the NSPCC this year as part of our ongoing relationship. We had such a generous response from our staff and would like to thank everyone who donated.”
