UK Coal contract
UK COAL has signed a five -year contract to supply power group E.ON with almost six million tonnes of coal.
Doncaster-based UK COAL says 75 per cent of the coal will come from UK COAL’s Daw Mill Colliery in the West Midlands, with the remainder being supplied from surface mine sites in Leicestershire and Derbyshire.
UK COAL chief executive, Jon Lloyd, said: "This contract extends supply of coal to one of our key customers at improved prices."
