Two men arrested over Wicker stabbing

Police have arrested two men in connection with a suspected stabbing on the Wicker yesterday

Police cordon on Wicker Arches amid suspected stabbing

Emergency services were called at around 2.50pm to reports a 20-year-old man had been found with suspected stab wounds in the Wicker area of Sheffield.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Blood spattered pavement near to Wicker Arches, where a suspected stabbing has taken place.

Two men, aged 18 and 20, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding.

They have been bailed pending further enquiries.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 670 of June 7.
