Officers were called out to Wadworth following the collision on the A60, which passes through the village.
A spokesman said: "Officers responded to reports of a road traffic collision on Church Road in Wadworth today at 11:05am."It is believed that a green Fiat 500 and a red Nissan X-Trail collided.
"No one was injured and the owners of the vehicles exchanged details at the scene."
