Two arrests on robberies

Doncaster police executed a warrant at an address in Woodlands, just before 7am yesterday to arrest two suspects in connection with raids in Skellow and Tickhill. Police believed the incidents may also have been connected with other robberies.

A 17-year-old is being questioned by police and a 27-year-old has been released on bail without charge.

The investigation includes a raid on the Texaco White Rose Filling station on the Great North Road, at Skellow, where a man produced what appeared to be a black pistol from his bag and pointed it at a cashier.
