Two arrests in Derbyshire

A TEENAGER has been arrested in connection with a spree of thefts and break-ins which were committed in Derbyshire.

The 19-has was arrested by Derbyshire Police in connection with bicycle thefts in Darley Dale, the theft of an Xbox from a house in the same town and the theft of clothes and a TV from a house in Matlock.

Derbyshire Police said that the crimes all happened in May and June.

A 17-year-old youth has also been arrested in connection with one of the incidents - the theft of two bicycles from a garage in Crowstones Road, Darley Dale, on June 15.

Both the men have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
