Two arrested over shooting

POLICe investigating a shooting in Sheffield have arrested two more people.

A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital after being shot on Eastern Drive, Arbourthorne, on Sunday, at about 10.40pm.

South Yorkshire Police said yesterday that they had arrested two men aged 22 and 23.

Both have since been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A 25-year-old man arrested at the weekend has also been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The wounded man managed to get from Eastern Drive to the McDonald’s Restaurant, Farm Road, after the shooting, where emergency services attended.

n Anyone with information about the shooting or who was in the areas at the time is asked to call police on 101.
