Twin fifties fun for good cause

REVELLERS can rock and roll for a good cause at a themed party,

Teddy boy Christopher Kay and twin sister Christine Ashton held a 1950s party to celebrate their 50th birthday in February.

But heavy snow meant many people could not make it – so the pair are doing it all again on Saturday.

This time the party – with music, games and themed dress at High Green Working Men’s Club – will raise cash for a relative who has autism.

Christine, of High Green, said: “A lot of people could not make it and had already purchased 1950s outfits, so we had the thought of doing it all again as it was a brilliant night.”

Tickets for the party, which starts at 7.30pm, are £5.
