I was heartened by the article from Paul Ratcliffe in regards to the dumped ASDA shopping trolleys in and around Bowden Houstead. Finally there may be some improvement to the situation.
Numerous people I know have complained to ASDA about the number of trolleys that have been dumped and if truth be told the store has done NOTHING to address the situation whatsoever except offer platitudes and empty promises.
ASDA has a responsibility to ensure that its property does not become dangerous litter and an eyesore.
So when will we see these contraptions gone?
I hope some time soon, I will even push them back myself if ASDA agree to donate any unsold fruit trees it has to help create a local community orchard. You cannot say fairer than that.
