Tributes paid as Sheffield biker killed in crash is named

South Yorkshire Police said the 23-year-old rider – who has been named locally as father-of-two Kyle Judge – and his 32-year-old passenger were travelling along the Wicker, towards Saville Street, when they were involved in a crash with a car.

The white SMF ZZ 125 motorcycle was involved in a collision with a blue Ford Focus travelling along Derek Dooley Way towards the Parkway at around 8.30pm.

Both men on the motorbike were rushed to hospital but the rider could not be saved.

A 52-year-old woman driving the car escaped with minor injuries.

On Facebook, Michaela Bugg said she had lost a ‘very good friend’ and paid tribute to Mr Judge. She said: “Such a shame that you have gone at an early age. You were such a good lad – we had some right laughs till all hours. My heart goes out to the Judge family and his two lovely girls and Chelsea.

“Fly so high mate, we will have more laughs when we meet again sweetheart. Sweet dreams.”

Tom Hughes posted: “RIP my friend. Gone but never forgotten.”

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “The men and woman were all taken to hospital following the incident.

“Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or either vehicle prior to the collision taking place.”
