Trees against toxic minions

I heard on the TV that our city is one of the most polluted in the country.

So we have a battle, the tree on one side and an anti-environment council and their toxic minion on the other.

The tree produces 260lbs of oxygen per year, enough to sustain a man for two years.

The council and the minion want to cut it down, it is in the way.

The tree is stately and beautiful and works hard for the environment.

What have the council and the minion got to offer?

I declare the winner is the tree.
