A Doncaster rail service has been suspended this afternoon due to a rail line buckling in the heat.

The First Transpennine Express has been suspended between Hull and Doncaster due to a rail buckling in the heat at Selby.

The same service is also suspended between Hull and Leeds and between Hull and York

There are also delays of up to 10 minutes on Virgin Trains East Coast Southbound between York and Doncaster due to a speed restrictions because of high rail temperatures.
