West Street trams: Service on busy Sheffield street out of action until later this week, say bosses
Trams are expected to remain suspended on a section of Sheffield’s network until tomorrow at least.
Stagecoach Supertram has been unable to run part of the track along West Street this week – initially after a tram broke down on Monday. Now they have confirmed they are now having to fix an area of track.
A spokesman for Stagecoach said today: “Tram services are expected to remain suspended between Shalesmoor and Cathedral until at least Thursday February 9 to allow for track repairs in the West Street area.”
