Vandals cause problems on railway between Sheffield and Barnsley

Train delays are expected in South Yorkshire today due to vandalism on the railway.

Vandals struck on the stretch of track between Meadowhall and Barnsley.

In a statement today, National Railway Enquiries said: “Vandalism of railway equipment between Meadowhall and Barnsley is causing disruption between Sheffield and Barnsley.
