Two women were taken to hospital after a car veered off a busy road in Sheffield and ploughed into a wall.

The driver and passenger of the car were wounded in the collision on Langsett Road in Hillsborough shortly before 9.45pm last night, Sunday, July 12, but police said their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
The 19-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of driving over the prescribed limit.
The road was closed following the collision, with tram services disrupted.
