Traffic queuing on M1 after lane blocked near J37

There are reports that one lane is blocked due on the M1 northbound, between J36 A61 (Barnsley South / Hoyland) and J37 A628 Whinby Road (Barnsley / Dodworth).
Highways England cameras show that traffic is backed up to J35.
The cause of the congestion is not yet known.
Normal traffic conditions are expected between 08:00 and 08:15am today.
Motorists are advised to take an alternative route
