A busy Sheffield road has been partly closed until Monday as engineers repair streetlights.

Leighton Road in Heeley is closed in both directions close to Gleadless Road and Spotswood Mount. The road shut on Tuesday and will reopen on Monday after engineers have finished repairing two streetlights.
It had been speculated the road was closed after a building roof collapsed, but Northern Powergrid confirmed it was due to repairs.
Traffic and bus services in the area, including the 11A, are currently affected.
